Constitution Day is September 17: Resources for Your District!
September 02, 2025
is a new resource offering educational institutions a one-stop shop for freely-accessible, high-quality, non-partisan, age-appropriate, Constitution-specific lessons. This flyer details how a 2005 law passed by Congress created Constitution Day and specifies that all students in educational institutions that receive federal funding are to be given a lesson about the U.S. Constitution on Constitution Day. The resources at consitutiondayhub.org focus on K-12 institutions and encourage school districts to take a district-wide approach to Constitution Day.
The Constitution Day Hub was created by 23 of the most highly respected, non-partisan civics education groups in the country. It is a site dedicated to offering educational institutions free, easily accessible education materials focusing on the United States Constitution. The site offers materials for all grade levels, with distinct areas for elementary, middle, and high schools.
51ÂÜÀò is sharing this resource in part because this year's Constitution Day activities may receive newfound attention given a January 29, 2025 White House Executive Order requiring federal agencies to monitor compliance with the requirement that all educational institutions receiving federal funds hold an educational program on the United States Constitution on September 17.
