Kelly Rudyk

Director of Pupil Personnel Services, North Salem Central School District (N.Y.)

Kelly’s experience in public education began in Hendrick Hudson, starting as a general education teacher for three years before transitioning to a decade-long role as a special education teacher within the district. During her tenure in Hendrick Hudson, she spent seven years as an Instructional Leader and chairperson for the Committee on Special Education in Hendrick Hudson, which led her toward pursuing a career in Educational Leadership. She earned a Certificate for Advanced Study at SUNY New Paltz in Educational Leadership in 2020. Kelly transitioned to Supervisor of Special Education within the Yorktown Central School District in 2021 before transitioning to a role in Yorktown as the Assistant Director of Pupil Personnel Services in Yorktown in September of 2023. Currently, she is serving in the role as Director of Pupil Personnel Services in the North Salem Central School District where she has had the opportunity to widen her support for students with disabilities and their families. Kelly’s family is a source of inspiration and encouragement, which includes her four children, loving husband, and their dog. Most recently, Kelly earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Manhattanville University in May of 2025.
