Dr. Joseph Jones is Superintendent of the New Castle County Vocational-Technical School District. A Delaware native with 29 years in public education, he鈥檚 served as a teacher, principal, and district leader. Named Delaware鈥檚 Secondary Principal of the Year, he led Delcastle to earn the state鈥檚 Outstanding Academic Achievement Award. Jones holds a doctorate from the University of Delaware, teaches at the university level, is the co-author of six leadership books, and co-hosts the FocusED podcast. He lives in Newark with his family.
