Eder Joseph

Assistant Superintendent, Burlington County Institute of Technology (N.J.)

Eder Joseph is the Assistant Superintendent of the Burlington County Institute of Technology in New Jersey. With 25 years in education, including over 15 years in school and district leadership, he oversees innovative Career and Technical Education programs, expands dual enrollment, and builds industry partnerships to prepare students for college and careers.

A proud son of Haitian immigrants, Eder is dedicated to breaking barriers for underrepresented students by increasing dual enrollment opportunities, expanding work-based learning, and launching new CTE programs that align with industry needs. He also champions student voice and mental health supports across the district.

Previously, Eder led a high school to earn National School of Character and Future Ready Schools distinctions, reflecting his commitment to student-centered, forward-thinking leadership. He is currently completing his doctorate focused on equitable access to dual enrollment for underrepresented students.

Eder is passionate about empowering students and staff, leading with purpose, and ensuring every child receives the education we would want for our own.
